Digital Concepts Wins India 500 Startup Awards – The Journey to Recognition
For any venture that starts from scratch, each day is a new struggle. It brings its own fear, anxieties and insecurities. But along with that, it brings the exhilaration and adrenaline rush of a new adventure. You don’t know what is ahead of you. You don’t want to look back. Climbing up is the only thing that you can do. This is the story of every startup. This is the story of Digital Concepts too.
The Story from the Beginning
Founded by a Kolkata based husband-wife duo in July 2018, Digital Concepts began its journey with a small office in the heart of south Kolkata. While these two founders had years of experience as professionals in the world of digital marketing, they had spent five precious years as co-founders of another internet marketing company too. You can call it ambition or sheer risk-taking attitude; they didn’t want to look back and think of resorting to the comfort of secure professional life with high salary and years of slavery. Luckily, they found and collaborated with a bunch of people too, young, thriving, ambitious, risk-takers and surely a crazy lot, crazy enough to believe in a startup where each of them had the capability and expertise to shine elsewhere, maybe with better opportunities and lesser risks. But then what’s the point of being high-spirited when you cannot step out of the comfort zone!
The Dreamers Together
And that was the beginning of the run. No, it has not always been smooth. Days have brought their own challenges and difficulties. They kept experimenting, again and again, sometimes failing, then again picking themselves up for a fresh brand new start. And maybe that is the key. As they say, the universe rewards persistent souls. Of course, patience and persistence are so rare. And Jitesh, Mitali and the DC squad have that in plenty. And observing the hard work that they have put, India 5000 decided to honor their efforts, diligence and innovation with India 500 Startup Award, 2019. The event was held on the 21st December at Iskcon Auditorium, New Delhi. Digital Concepts is honored to be felicitated by Mr.Indrajit Ghosh, the Chairman of MSME Chamber of commerce and Industry of India and Mr.Anton Todorov – TQV head, Switzerland. The glorious event and all its moments of achievements were covered by the media partner CNBC Awaaz. Nothing else could have been a better way to wrap the 2019 for DC Squad!

And when a startup gets the award just after completing one year, it is surely a huge boost to the confidence and the enthusiasm for the whole team.
